Mr Flavour are regularly asked to create exhibition stand ideas that are engaging, interactive and work well to increase attention and retention of customers to exhibition stands. We feel this is most certainly our niche with the range of drinks services we have developed designed specifically for an eccentric serve and contain the ‘wow’ appeal for guests.
Our project brief for Willerby was all about one word: data. Data capture was the critical aspect of the stand with features including a free chocolate vending machine, win a home tv entertainment system and a free mocktail all in exchange of one key information, your email.
A bespoke bar build was created matching the logo colours of Willerby. On the bar station was an iPad directly connected with a bespoke app developed by IBI Graphics designed to have an easy interface for customers to enter their email details.
To build up appeal, the mocktails were served for a 2 hour period during peak times of the show to aid the Willerby stand to be busy at key times. The mocktail bar was designed to be of fast service with the ability to serve over 400 drinks in a 2 hour slot twice a day with preprepped drinks ready to be garnished and served out in biodisposable glassware.
To correlate the drinks to the company for exhibition stand ideas, Mr Flavour consulted on designing a menu where each drink was named after different luxury lodges that Willerby create. Attention to detail included matching colour schemes of the lodges, locations of the lodges currently, size of the lodges to match the amount of ingredients in the mocktail and bespoke theatrical garnishes to each drink. Customers found themselves matching drinks to the exhibited lodges subconsciously reaffirming the Willerby brand.
As well as each drink being named after different products of Willerby, each drink was finished off with a direct form of branding with the company logo featuring on top of every drink in innovative ways. Mr Flavour branded fresh fruit with the company logo promoting the brand with healthy wellbeing, a key strategy in Willerby’s marketing campaign. Dr Hilary Jones, a guest speaker promoted the benefits of healthy wellbeing and the importance of holidays for health with the release of a paper, both Dr Hilary Jones & Willerby had collaborated on.
Overall the 7 day exhibition was a great success with the Willerby stand receiving high volumes of visitors and generating great quality data as well as direct sales. The branded drinks were a great success which peaked on the weekend with over 700 serves going out both Saturday & Sunday.
