About Team Building Experiences
In March 2020, due to the Coronavirus global pandemic, the UK entered a national lockdown. For the UK workforce, this affected how businesses operated and lead to companies needing to adapt to keep their employees safe.
In April 2020, a survey done by the Office for National Statistics showed that 46.6% of people were working from home. Of those people, 86% did so as a direct result of Covid-19. In London alone, 57.2% of people did some work from home in this period. This pattern continued throughout the year and in January 2021, the UK found itself in its third national lockdown.
Team Building Experiences started as a live Events Company. The pandemic put live events on hold indefinitely but opened up an opportunity for Virtual Experiences. Virtual provided a new way to connect with other people virtually around the world when physical get-togethers just weren’t possible.
By October 2020, Team Building Experiences had a wide range of Virtual Events. A variety of Virtual Experiences were added including Virtual Team Building, Virtual Social Events, and Virtual Food and Drink Experiences.
Between November and December 2020, over 13,000 people hit the Team-Building-Experiences.co.uk website looking for Virtual Christmas Party Ideas. From a Virtual Cocktail Making Class to a Virtual Magic and Mind Reading Show, it quickly became clear, Virtual Events were the way forward.
