For this weeks blog we thought it might be an interesting read to showcase how weddings occur – from the suppliers side. Mr Flavour were part of over 15 weddings in the last 3 months all with different demands, styles, venues and cultures.
Using our in-house events management team as well as our trusted network of suppliers, we create a comprehensive project quote of your event. Our trusted suppliers include catering, Asian catering, furniture hire, crockery hire, room décor, marquee hire, audio & visual hire. These suppliers complement our inhouse mobile bar hire drinks team, entertainment team and event management team to seamlessly deliver a fluent wedding dedicated to your tastes. With that in mind, Mr Flavour presents you 5 tips when starting to plan your wedding:-
Your wedding is all about the two of you, so try to incorporate as much of your personalities into the day as you can. Show your creative side and your characters in things like your table plan, your wedding favours, your first dance, your outfits. Why not have your own wedding logo created and have it transcend through your seating, tables and your bar? Guests of your weddings and your families should see your influence coming through on your special day!
Serve one or two customised cocktails on your menu. It will add a bespoke touch to your menu and another great way to personalise your day. You and your partner should each have a concoction created for you but try and select flavours that are desired by a wide range of people to maximise the popularity of your cocktail. We also recommend keeping your cocktail menu to 4 or less to reduce waiting times at the bar by not offering a huge menu for guests to read before ordering!
Lounge areas are becoming more popular with couples to drive home wedding themes and break up large areas. Providing comfy furniture hire options such as LED sofas, armchairs, inflatable chesterfields and much more. Lounge spaces provide a great space to perform champagne/cocktail receptions and canapes prior to entering the main room. Another great use of lounge areas is shisha hire, check out our outdoor & indoor options here!
Don’t rush your big day. Strategically plan your day giving yourself enough time to get ready, too long for the drinks before dinner or enough time to party the night away! Confirm with venues when finish time is for your evening and have enough time for dancing (2 to 4 hours depending how big a party animals your guests are!). End your night on a high and leave guests with a final memory of your special day.
Wedding planning can be stressful but if you find yourself getting too caught up in it all, take a step back and remind yourself what your wedding is really about…Likewise on your special day, take a step back and admire what you have created for the most special day of your life!
