Every recipe is developed, tested and documented before the date, so the two hundredth serve of the night matches the first.

What Cocktail Bar Hire Costs
Cocktail bar hire with Mr Flavour starts from £1,000 ex VAT. The final figure is shaped by three things: how many guests you are serving, how long the bar stays open, and how far the bar design is tailored to your event. Every quotation is built from those three, so you are never paying for a package that does not fit the occasion.

The Curated Bar. Everything in the Signature Bar, with a bespoke menu designed around your event, elevated serves including smoke, clarified and pre batched cocktails, and a bar dressed to your palette. Suited to weddings and corporate hospitality where the bar is part of the design of the room.

Designing Your Cocktail Menu
The menu is where a cocktail bar stops being a service and becomes part of the event. Most events settle on three to five cocktails. That range keeps service quick at the bar and gives guests a genuine choice without the queue that a long list creates.
Every menu is balanced deliberately. A spirit forward serve, something long and refreshing, something sparkling, and at least one considered alcohol free option so that guests who are not drinking are served with the same care as those who are. Our mocktail bar hire uses the same technique and the same glassware, because a guest should never be able to tell from across the room.
Signature serves that appear most often on our menus include a clarified milk punch built days ahead and served crystal clear, a smoked old fashioned finished under a cloche at the bar, an English garden serve using seasonal British produce, and a sparkling aperitivo for arrival. Each can be adapted to the palette and the season.
Menus are agreed in a tasting or consultation ahead of the event, and we handle allergen documentation for every serve as standard.
Bartenders, Guest Numbers and Service Timings
Staffing is the single biggest factor in whether a bar feels effortless or feels like a queue. As a guide, we allocate one mixologist per fifty guests for a full cocktail menu, easing to one per seventy five where the menu is simpler and the serves are quicker to build.
Bar size follows the same logic. A single bar comfortably serves up to one hundred guests. Beyond that we recommend a second service point, either a second bar or a dedicated station for welcome drinks, so that arrival does not create a bottleneck that the rest of the evening never recovers from.
Set up typically takes two to three hours depending on the build, and breakdown is handled quietly once service closes. For events where the bartending itself is part of the entertainment, our flair bartenders can be added to any package.
Dry Hire or Full Service
There are two ways to work with us, and the right one depends on your venue and your licence.
Full service is the more common choice. Mr Flavour supplies the bar, the team, the spirits, the mixers, the glassware and the ice, and takes responsibility for licensing and insurance. You agree a menu and a guest number, and everything from stock ordering to waste removal sits with us. It is the simpler arrangement and the one most venues prefer.
Dry hire suits clients whose venue holds its own licence, or who have a relationship with a supplier, or who want to provide something particular from a private cellar. Some venues will only permit one of the two. We are happy to speak with your venue directly to establish what is possible before you commit to either route, and we hold public liability insurance and personal licence holders for events across the UK.

Can I supply my own alcohol?
