Our cocktail masterclass in Manchester runs at the drinks studio where we develop every serve we take to an event, on the Roundthorn Industrial Estate, M23. You learn from the same team that runs our cocktail bar hire for brands such as Aston Martin, Porsche and Land Rover.

Every class is built on ten of our most popular cocktails, each reworked with the theatrical garnish that makes it a Mr Flavour drink. Classics on the list include our versions of:

How a cocktail masterclass runs
On arrival. Every guest is handed a cocktail made by our team, so the group sees the finished standard before anyone picks up a shaker.
The class. A mixologist demonstrates each drink, then every guest builds it: measuring, shaking or stirring, and finishing the garnish. You drink what you make.
Your signature serve. For a private party we can design a cocktail around the guest of honour. For Charlotte’s hen party it was the Charlottini, built on her favourite fruits.
Next to the kitchen. Studio classes sit beside our five star hygiene rated prep kitchen, where we test clarification, super juice and reverse spherification before they reach an event.
Timings. A class runs for ninety minutes and each guest makes three cocktails.
Private cocktail masterclasses for hen parties and birthdays
A private cocktail masterclass turns a hen do, a birthday or a night in with friends into something the group does together. We come to your home or venue, or you bring the group to our Manchester studio.
Charlotte’s surprise hen party, Delamere Manor, Cheshire. Her sister booked an interactive masterclass for the bride and 20 guests:

Corporate cocktail masterclasses at your office or venue
A cocktail masterclass is team building people want to attend. We bring the bar, the kit and the mixologists to your office or a venue you have booked, or host the team at our Manchester studio.
Office takeovers are routine. We took over Land Rover’s Mayfair office for the SVR launch showcase, serving 150 guests branded espresso martinis and SVR inspired serves, and ran office roadshows for Softcat across ten offices in the UK and Ireland.
Branded to your company. Your logo printed on the foam, a cocktail named after the team or the launch, and printed menus to match.
Practical. Set up takes two to three hours and one 13A socket covers most builds. POs and 30 day invoicing can be arranged case by case with enough notice. For receptions and launches without a class, see corporate event bar hire.
Virtual cocktail masterclasses
We started running virtual masterclasses in 2020 for teams who cannot be in one room. A mixologist hosts the class live and every guest makes each drink at home, from the same ten cocktails as the studio class.
You choose how ingredients reach each guest: a kit posted to their door, or a shopping list they buy from before the class.
Booking a masterclass and what affects the price
Price. Every class is quoted to the brief. Four things move the figure: the number of guests, where the class runs, how many cocktails each guest makes, and whether you want a signature drink or branding.
Lead time. Book four to eight weeks ahead where you can. We have turned events around in a week when the date demands it.
Cover. £10m public liability insurance with Hiscox, all kit PAT tested, and risk assessments and method statements on request.

Where is your Manchester cocktail masterclass held?
Studio classes run at our drinks studio on the Roundthorn Industrial Estate, Manchester M23, where the team develops and tests every serve. We also run masterclasses at your home, office or venue anywhere in the UK.
Can you run a cocktail masterclass at our office?
Yes. We bring the bar, the equipment and the mixologists, and set up in two to three hours. One 13A socket covers most builds, so a meeting room or office floor usually works.
Can we book a private cocktail masterclass for a hen party or birthday?
Yes, at your home, your venue or our studio. We can build the class around a signature cocktail for the guest of honour, as we did with the Charlottini for a 20 guest hen party at Delamere Manor.
Which cocktails will we learn to make?
You choose from ten of our most popular cocktails, including our versions of the Margarita, Cosmopolitan, Negroni and Pornstar Martini. Each comes with the theatrical garnish we use at events, and we can add a bespoke signature drink.
How many people can take part?
Tell us your numbers when you enquire and we will plan the class around them. The studio takes up to 30 guests, with a minimum of 8. Larger groups we run at your office or venue.
How far ahead should we book?
Four to eight weeks ahead is ideal. Shorter notice is sometimes possible, so ask.
Are you insured?
Yes. We hold £10m public liability insurance with Hiscox, all kit is PAT tested, and we supply risk assessments and method statements on request. Personal Licences are held in house.
