A full bar, built where there is none
Pop up bar hire from Mr Flavour puts a complete, staffed bar into a space that was never built to have one: a garden, a marquee, an office floor, a car showroom, a launch or a private home. The bar arrives in modular 1.5 metre sections, is built and stocked in two to three hours, and runs self sufficient, with ice, glassware and garnish carried in the bar itself.
The standard build is two sections, three metres of bar, with an optional printed front panel. When service closes we break it down in around an hour and leave the space as we found it. For multi bar layouts and larger builds, see our mobile bar hire range.
Pop up cocktail bar hire
A pop up cocktail bar runs three to five cocktails. That keeps service quick and still gives guests a real choice: a spirit forward serve, something long, something sparkling and at least one considered alcohol free option. Every recipe is developed, tested and documented before the date, with allergen documentation for every serve.

Gardens and marquees
No fixed bar and often no mains power. We bring the bar, the ice and the glassware, and arrange a generator where the site needs one.
Private parties
Milestone birthdays and anniversaries at home. Send a floor plan or a photo of the space and we will tell you what fits. Floor protection is standard.
Unlicensed venues
Galleries, warehouses and blank canvas spaces. We hold personal licence holders and can apply for a Temporary Event Notice where a site is unlicensed.

Larger builds
Three to four sections for 100 to 150 guests. Six or more, run straight, as an L or as a full circular bar of seven sections, for larger events.
Branded fronts

How the day runs
Your event manager is on site throughout.Site check
We confirm access, the bar position and power with you or the venue before the date. Lifts, stairs and long carries are all workable if we know early.
Build
Two to three hours before doors: the bar goes up, the floor is protected, the ice, glassware and garnish go in.
Service
Mixologists at one per 50 guests for a full cocktail menu. A welcome station can run alongside so arrivals never queue.
Breakdown
Around an hour once service closes. Waste and glass are collected and the space is left as we found it.

What is included, and what the venue needs
Every pop up bar hire includes the bar, licensed and insured bartenders, glassware, stock, ice, garnishes, straws, napkins and every piece of bar equipment, with a named event manager from first call to breakdown. Floor protection, waste removal and glass collection are handled as standard.
From the venue we need three things: a route from the vehicle to the bar position, a level space and power. One 13A socket covers most builds. Larger bars with lighting and refrigeration may need a second circuit, and gardens and marquees usually need a generator, which we can arrange. Some venues only permit their own licence, in which case dry bar hire is the route.
One mixologist per 50 guests
We staff a full cocktail menu at one mixologist per 50 guests, easing to one per 75 where the serves are quicker to build. Every booking has a named event manager on site, and flair bartenders can be added where the bartending is part of the entertainment.
We carry £10 million public liability insurance with Hiscox, PAT test all of our equipment, and supply RAMS on request. For corporate bookings, purchase orders and 30 day invoicing are accepted case by case with enough notice. More on our corporate event bar hire page.

What is a pop up bar?
A pop up bar is a complete bar built on site from modular 1.5 metre sections, for spaces with no bar of their own. It carries its own ice, glassware and garnish, so it runs without relying on the building. Our standard build is two sections, three metres of bar.

How much does pop up bar hire cost?
Packages start from £1,000 ex VAT. A cocktail bar starts from £35 per guest, all inclusive from £45 per guest, and dry hire from £250 per bar section. Scale of build, guest numbers and menu move the figure, and an itemised quote follows within one working day.
How long does a pop up bar take to set up?
Set up takes two to three hours and breakdown around an hour, both scheduled around your timings. One 13A socket covers most builds. Larger bars may need a second circuit, and outdoor sites usually need a generator, which we can arrange.
How many bartenders do I need?
We allocate one mixologist per 50 guests for a full cocktail menu, easing to one per 75 for a simpler serve. A two to three metre bar with two mixologists comfortably covers up to 100 guests.
Can you set up a pop up bar in an office or showroom?
Yes. We have run branded bars on office floors across as many as ten Softcat offices in one campaign, and installed a two section bar into the Aston Martin showrooms in Mayfair and Manchester. Lifts, stairs and long carries are workable if we know about them in advance.

Yes. Front panels can be printed or wrapped in your artwork, and we send a full digital proof before anything goes to print. Printing takes three to five working days, with fast track available for urgent events.
